Awarded annually to a full-time junior or senior majoring or minoring in Insurance or Risk Management with a desire to pursue a career in the field. Completion of one insurance and risk management course & continued current enrollment in advanced insurance & risk management courses. Preference given to those with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 that demonstrate leadership and character.
The recipient(s) of this award will be an undergraduate student properly enrolled full time as a junior or senior at Missouri State University, with a declared major in Risk Management and Insurance and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Awarded annually to a full-time student majoring or minoring in Insurance and Risk Management with a desire to pursue a career in the field with a cumulative GPA of 2.75. Preference will go to those with under 56 hours. Incoming freshmen considered based on high school academic performance. Preference given to members of professional insurance organizations, such as Gamma Iota Sigma. Must submit letters of recommendation detailing their leadership and character.
Awarded annually to a full-time sophomore or greater Insurance and Risk Management major. Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75. Preference for student who has completed one insurance and risk management course and who has continued current enrollment in advanced insurance or risk management courses. Preference should be given to members of Gamma Iota Sigma. Preference also given to those that have earned insurance designations.
The recipients of this award will be students properly enrolled at Missouri State University with a major in business and a GPA of at least 2.75. Preference will be given to students with a declared major in Risk Insurance Management and/or a member of Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS) or Gamma Iota Society (GIS).

The recipient of the award will be an undergraduate student properly enrolled full-time at Missouri State University seeking a major or minor in Risk Management and Insurance with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Membership in Gamma Iota Sigma is preferred.
The student must be a full-time student pursuing a major in Risk Management and Insurance. The student must be a junior or senior and have completed at least one Risk Management/Insurance course and be currently enrolled in or have completed an advanced Risk Management/Insurance class. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, the student must have an expressed interest in holding an internship in the energy industry during the academic year in with they are receiving this scholarship. The recipient of this scholarship will be given the opportunity, if desired and if available, to hold an internship within the year in which they receive the scholarship with a member of the Energy Industry within the area. The recipient is not required to hold the internship but will be given first preference if they do opt to pursue the opportunity. Student may use the internship (if desired) for academic credit as approved or determined by the Department of Finance and General Business.

Awarded annually to a full-time Junior or Senior majoring in Insurance and Risk Management with a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Awards made with regard for financial need. In the case no applicants meet requirements, consideration will be made for Insurance and Risk Management minors meeting the same criteria.
Awarded annually to a full-time junior or senior majoring in Finance with an Insurance emphasis or minor. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5. Preference given based on financial need.
Awarded annually to a full-time junior or senior majoring or minoring in Insurance. Must demonstrate leadership, be involved in extracurricular activities, and submit a letter of recommendation from faculty within the FGB Department.
Awarded annually to a full-time junior or senior majoring or minoring in Insurance. Must demonstrate academic excellence. Preference given to those interested in a career in life insurance.

Transfer Students with less than 80 hours will also be considered but must meet the same GPA requirements. Preference should be given to members of Gamma Iota Sigma. First preference should be given to incoming freshman. If no eligible candidates arise, upper-division Insurance majors may also be considered.
Awarded annually to a junior or senior that is an Insurance and Risk Management major or Insurance minor that demonstrates academic excellence and has completed or is enrolled in risk management or insurance courses. The student must be enrolled in at least 9 credit hours per semester.

Preference given to those who are active in a professional insurance organization, such as Gamma Iota Sigma. Must demonstrate leadership and character.
Awarded annually to a full-time junior or senior majoring or minoring in Insurance and Risk Management with an interest in pursuing a career in the field. Student must have completed one insurance and risk management course & continued current enrollment in advanced insurance & risk management courses. Preference given to students with evidence of leadership and strong character with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Awarded annually to a full-time student either majoring or minoring in Insurance and Risk Management that plans to pursue a career in the field. Student must demonstrate leadership and have a cumulative GPA of 2.75. Preference should be given to those in Gamma Iota Sigma.
Awarded annually to a full-time student that is seeking a major or minor in the field of Insurance and Risk Management or an MBA with an emphasis in the field. Student should have completed the basic insurance courses and enrolled in two additional courses in the field. Must be person of demonstrable integrity and leadership that has sat and passed one of the following: CLU, ChFC, CPCU, or CFP. Undergraduates must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 and graduates must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2. Preferably will go to an active member of Gamma Iota Sigma.
Awarded annually to a full-time student pursuing a career in insurance. Juniors or greater must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0. First preference to students from the six-county greater Kansas City area. All else equal, preference given based on financial need. Scholarship recipients may be considered for renewal of the scholarship but must reapply.
